Coach's Corner - Rich Miller

  • Coach Rich Miller has been head coach the Knights for the last 3 years. Prior to that, he's been apart of the softball world since 2010. He's coached all different levels of the game from recreational to travel ball.

  • Rich is lifelong player, who coaches for his love of the game. He aims to keep that love for the game alive in his community through coaching, and offering his time for the girls he coaches.

  • The Knights concluded their 2025 campaign with a 9-5 record, a third place finish, and a trip to the playoffs.

  • His outlook for this season is to maintain the Knights status as one of Tier 3's top teams in the league, while at the same time looking for growth and development among his players as they enter a new, younger era of Knights softball.

Captain's Corner

  • The Knights lone Captain this year is sophomore Catcher Jessica Connolly. As a sophomore, to be the captain of the team is no easy feat. However, Coach Rich Miller is proud of how nicely Connolly stepped into the role perfectly

  • Connolly's nature as a strong leader and team player allowed for her to become the voice of the clubhouse

  • Since her start as a freshman, Connolly has become the heart of the team and the lineup, steadily improving with each season.

  • While she is hoping to play in college, Connolly is still young and unrecruited, and she has a lot of game left in her with the Knights as she continues to leave it all out on the field.

Rising Stars

  • An early Rising Star pick for the Knights in 2026 comes in the form of freshman flamethrower Riley Brana.

  • Brana, even as a freshman, is already poised for a big season with the Knights. Projected to be their X-Factor ace, Coach Miller is hoping to develop the best out of her among her upcoming 4 years with the Knights.

  • Brana's addition to the Knights already solid pitching rotation creates an arsenal of talent that can be useful in any situation the Knights find themselves in. Pitching wins championships, and Brana can be the one to get the Knights there in 2026.
